The honey bee colony will be removed alive, whenever possible, but sometimes this may not be the most practical solution. Honey bee swarms that have recently entered the wall of a structure, say for 1 day or so, can be exterminated. It is still not recommended to exterminate since there is a big shortage of bees. If the bees have been there more than 3-5 days extermination will not solve the entire problem—live bee removal is the best way to resolve your issue and the bees'.

SO WHY LIVE BEE REMOVAL?

• We remove the wax and honey.  Without removing the wax and honey it is likely that when the bees die, the wax will melt and cause the honey to flow out of the hive. When the bees are alive, they flap their wings and keep the beeswax cool preventing wax from melting. 
• Exterminators don't typically clean out the wax and honey.  This could also lead to a recurring problem when other swarms pass through the same area your house will be their likely choice—after all, the other bees found it suitable why wouldn't they?
